Last night Sue and I went to the GHD Style Diary event. We’ve been to many fashion shows before, but this was something else! Instead of the usual “Let’s get a seat and watch the models strut around”, I was impressed by the concept where the models were placed in various rooms around the building complex as us as the visitors strolled from exhibition to exhibition admiring the creativity of each piece. Vitamin Water and House of Krone ensure that our mouths were sweetened to keep the conversation flowing. The building itself, though quite old, showed the unique architecture found in the inner city.

My major FAIL of the evening was that I forgot my camera at home, this was further exacerbated when I saw the poster saying that we should take pictures as we wander through the building and send them to Jenn, with the possibility of winning a GHD Straightner.

So I resorted to my trusty HTC cellphone and tried to snap a few videos. They came out fairly decent, considering the low light conditions.

As we left each lady got a goody bag. Most definitely the highlight of Sue’s evening. We eventually got home to our camera and took a pic.

Which brings me to a particular Crown Birthday coming soon.  October 26^th is Sue’s birthday and I’m searching for gifts. They way her eyes lit up last night was more than enough of a hint as to where a should be looking.

So the last question is, Purple, Pink or Black?…. Hmmmm
